William Gibson

One of my favorite writers happens to be such a personable person to hear speak about his own writing and writing process.  He isn't modest per se, but confident and unarrogant about his successes.  His science fiction literacy surprised me, yet his breakdown of old influences made perfect.  Most specifically Alfred bester.

The chapter he read from the middle of Zero History created an urge to dig into his recent work again.  And to see it differently.  Will do so while waiting for the trade paperback.
